The Flying Car

Harry Potter and Ron Weasley were late for school. They stood in front of the wall at King's Cross Station, but nothing happened.

“We can't get to Platform Nine and Three-Quarters!” Ron said.

Then the boys had an unusual idea. Outside the station was Mr Weasley's old flying car. They got inside and soon the blue car was flying high above the houses, rivers, and fields.

“It looks amazing!” Harry said with a smile.

After a long journey, they finally saw Hogwarts Castle. The tall towers stood above the trees, and everything looked peaceful.

But suddenly the car started to fly lower and lower.

“Pull up!” Harry shouted.

It was too late.

The car crashed into a huge tree. At first, everything was quiet. Then the tree moved. Its long branches hit the car again and again. The boys tried to escape, but the angry tree did not stop. Finally, the car threw them onto the ground and drove away by itself.

Harry and Ron looked at each other. Their clothes were dirty, and they were tired, but they were safe.

A few minutes later, they met Hagrid, the friendly giant. He looked at the broken car and shook his head.

“You two always find trouble,” he said.

Later that day, the students returned to their classes. They practised spells with their wands, made potions in large cauldrons, and talked about the strange flying car. That night, everyone in the dormitory was still laughing about Harry and Ron's adventure, but the boys knew one thing for sure—they would never forget the Whomping Willow.
