A Day at the Beach

Last Saturday, Tom and his sister Mia went to the beach with their parents. It was a hot and sunny day. Tom put on his sunglasses, and Mia put sun cream on her arms and face.

They found a nice place on the sand. Dad opened a big umbrella, and Mum sat on a deck chair with a book. Tom and Mia put their towel near the water and ran to the sea.

The water was blue and warm. Suddenly, a big wave came and made them laugh. After swimming, Mia found a beautiful shell near the water. It was pink and orange.

Then the family had sandwiches and fruit under the umbrella. In the evening, they were tired but happy. Tom said, “This was the best day at the beach!”
